MorrnIx

About

Built from evidence.
Refined through validation.
Designed for construction.

MorrnIx is being built through continuous research into how construction procurement actually works — not assumptions.

Why we exist

Projects don't fail because people stop working.

They fail because critical procurement information arrives too late to act on. MorrnIx exists to make procurement risk visible early enough that teams still have options.

The problem

Procurement status is usually self-reported, and reviewed occasionally.

On most projects, procurement status gets checked in a weekly meeting, a monthly report, or when someone finally asks. By the time a delay surfaces, the options for managing it have usually already narrowed.

  • Long-lead equipment arriving later than planned
  • Delays that ripple into the wider schedule
  • Limited visibility into supplier reliability
  • Price escalation from late-stage sourcing decisions
  • Payment timing disputes tied to delivery uncertainty

Existing construction management platforms already do a lot to support procurement and scheduling, and that value is real. MorrnIx isn't trying to replace them. Our focus is narrower: the operational visibility that shows a risk is emerging, before it becomes a variation or a missed date.

How we work

Right now, we're validating — not automating.

MorrnIx is currently in research, customer discovery, and workflow validation.

Research

Studying how procurement risk actually surfaces on live projects, not how it's assumed to work.

Customer discovery

Direct conversations with project managers, procurement managers, contracts administrators, and other construction professionals.

Workflow validation

Checking every assumption against real project workflows before any of it becomes software.

We're validating these assumptions before we automate any of them. The platform doesn't exist yet — what exists is the research.

Our beliefs

What we believe, before we build.

  • The right problem matters more than the right software.
  • Technology should automate proven operational discipline — not replace understanding.
  • Proof beats vision.
  • Construction language matters.
  • Honesty about what we know, and what we're still validating.

Our approach

Earlier visibility creates more options.

We're not replacing construction expertise. We're helping construction teams make better decisions earlier — because earlier decisions protect both programme and margin.

Today and tomorrow

Manual validation today. Automated discipline tomorrow.

Today

We're validating workflows directly — through research and customer discovery, in conversations with the people who manage procurement every day.

Tomorrow

Software will automate what we're validating now: supplier check-ins, early warning, procurement risk scoring, and critical-path correlation. That's the direction, not something that exists today.

Principles

How we hold ourselves to it.

Clarity over complexity.

Build to solve real problems.

Earn trust through consistency.
